As part of the admissions process, all applicants are required to complete the entrance exam. The exam helps us evaluate your analytical thinking, editing skills, and ability to write clearly and concisely in a timed environment.What to Expect Within two business days of starting your application, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access the entrance exam with the subject line "Your test link is available". There is no need to schedule an exam appointment. You may take the exam at any time that is convenient for you. However, once you begin, you must complete the exam in one sitting. The exam is administered online through Honorlock and includes 90 minutes of testing time. It is your responsibility to monitor and manage your time throughout the exam, as no countdown timer is provided. Please plan your pace accordingly to ensure you complete all sections within the allotted time. The duration of your exam session is recorded by Honorlock, and we can verify the total time spent on the exam from the recorded session. Any time exceeding the 90-minute testing limit may be reviewed as part of the exam integrity process. During the exam, you may not use any external resources, including:
Accommodation Requests If you require testing accommodations due to a documented disability or medical condition, please contact the Office of Admissions as early as possible before scheduling your exam. We are committed to providing reasonable accommodations and will work with you to ensure you have equitable access to the admissions process. When you reach the registration form, you'll be asked to create a temporary password and enter your name and email address (see the screenshot below): Using any prohibited resources during the exam is considered a violation of exam policies and will result in immediate disqualification from the admissions process. To familiarize yourself with the exam format, we encourage you to review the Fall 2022 Entrance Exam before taking the test.Fall 2027 Application Deadlines The entrance exam is a required part of your application. Your application will not be considered complete until your exam has been submitted by the applicable application deadline.
