To be considered for admission, all applicants are required to complete the admissions exam. The exam is designed to give us an idea of your analytical and editing skills, and your ability to write clearly and concisely in a timed environment.
WHAT TO EXPECT You will have the flexibility to complete the exam virtually (one-on-one proctoring via Zoom). You will be allotted 90 minutes to complete the exam. External resources are not permitted, including but not limited to: - AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT or any similar platforms) - The internet - Spell-check or grammar-check software When completing the exam on Zoom, you will be required to share your screen to ensure you are not using external resources. The use of any external resources will be considered a violation of exam policies and will result in immediate disqualification from consideration for admission. Before exam day, we recommend referring to the Fall 2022 exam to learn more about the test format. SCHEDULING INSTRUCTIONS It is strongly recommended that you schedule your exam well in advance, as appointment times are available on a first-come, first-served basis. IMPORTANT: Additional weeknight and evening slots will be available by the week of November 18. We will send you an email notification as soon as they become available.
